This is very creative. You’ve taken on a very serious topic and very successfully adopted the emotions and inner dialogue of the woman in the story. Also, the british accent is brilliant. :)

Please don’t ever actually gain a British accent and then get into an abusive relationship; based on this podcast, if you did I think it would break my heart.

On first listening, I thought the podcast, as introspective and thoughtful as it is, would benefit greatly from reworking the narration as a kind of informal poem. Now I basically think it’s great as it is. However, right at the end — the bit about our protagonist finally have hope — could, I think, benefit greatly from a bit of soft music.

I’m not sure just how you did it, but your words convey very well a sense of frightened, conflicted reluctance. The ticking clock in the background added urgency, which made the atmosphere reflect what was going on in the woman’s head.

From the moment you started speaking…I was really very impressed. Your British accent is really good! OK- but really I was ipressed by the emotion and tension your podcast held. There are so many layers that I noticed something different the second and third times I listened to your podcast. I found the sound of the ticking clock to seem as if it was rushing the narrator despite the slow cautious mournful tone of her voice. You did a really great job creating the story :)
