Valparaiso University personnel are encouraged to leave campus after 2 p.m. today due to impending inclement weather. Staff members should check with their supervisor prior to leaving campus.
The Café in the Harre Union will be open until 2 p.m. today.
The campus community is reminded that information about cancellations or delays will be posted on the home page of the University’s Web site as well as the Chicagoland Emergency Closing Center: (http://www.emergencyclosingcenter.com/complete.html).
Closing and delay information also will be provided to WAKE 1500/WLJE 105.5 (Valparaiso), WZVN 107.1 (Lowell), WXRD 103.9 (Crown Point), WJOB 1230 (Gary), WLPR 89.1 (Merrillville), WIMS 1420/WEFM 95.9(Michigan City), WLOI 1540/WCOE 96.7 (LaPorte), WKVI 99.3/1520 (Knox), WBBM and WGN radio in Chicago, and Chicago television stations.
Normal operations are expected to resume at 7 a.m. tomorrow, March 6, 2013.
