On the evening of March 20, 2013, it was reported to the Valparaiso University Police Department (VUPD) that a Caucasian male suspect (40s, stocky build, light facial hair, wearing a blue and orange stocking cap) was watching as a female began to shower. The incident occurred in the third-floor women’s restroom of Guild Hall.
It is believed that the suspect most likely entered the building by following a student through the south main building doorway. Students should be aware of people following them into residence halls, and doors should remain secured for their safety.
