Zhejiang Butterfly Performing Troupe
6 02 2008Thursday, Feb 14th at 7:30 p.m. there will be free entertainment in the Chapel of the Resurrection featuring a professional performing group from China, along with the VU Symphony and Windiana Concert Band. Having been invited by Valparaiso University, the Zhejiang Butterfly Performing Troupe is making a special trip to America to perform traditional Chinese instrumental and vocal music, folk dances, acrobatics, and excerpts from a famous classical Chinese opera for the opening ceremony of the Confucius Institute at VU. You won’t want to miss this rare opportunity to see these three musical groups combine their unique styles, rhythms, and talents and perform together!
