Violence in America

We are posting on this issue because of the important concerns that are being felt in the African American community about the escalation of gun violence around this nation.

The African American communities in the inner city are impacted by gun violence each and every day. we know more than most the terror and pain of a child loss to this violence and we understand the importance of peacemaking as a priority in every community in this country.

We cannot continue to act as if the sell of guns and weapons in this nation will not hurt our communities. We know that unless there is a serious movement to stop the use of violence in our communities then suffering will indeed continue.

As African Americans we stand for the end of violence through our nation and around the world .

We must act as peacemakers!

If not us then who? If not now then when?
