Banned Books Week

September 24 through October 1 is Banned Books Week. This week celebrates the freedom to read and think whatever you want! Come to the Christopher Center for Library and Information Resources to see which book was banned for being a “downer,” and which was banned for making duplicitous use of cute penguins. Library Services is sponsoring a Banned Books Readout on Tuesday, September 28 from 11:45 to 12:45 in the Christopher Center Community Room, with campus celebrities such as Laurie Eberhardt and Rick Gillman reading from banned or challenged books.
