Members of the Valpo community who have published books in 2011/12 will be recognized at the 12th Annual Valparaiso University Authors Reception in the Community Room of the Christopher Center on Thursday, April 19. Refreshments will be served at 4:00 pm and the opening remarks will be by Martin Buinicki of the Department of English. The recipient of the Library Award for Undergraduate Research will be announced during the reception. All are welcome.
The Library at Valparaiso University sponsors this reception each year in recognition of National Library Week.
This year’s honorees are Janet Brown, Martin Buinicki, Edward Byrne, Brad Eden, Ruth Ellen Foster, Kristen Mauk, Philip Potempa, Nola Schmidt, Julien Smith, Bernard Trujillo, Peter Venturelli and Linda Whitton.
