2012 Core Reader Essays are now available

The Christopher Center and The Law Library are happy to announce that the new additions to the Valpo Core Reader have been published on ValpoScholar. The Valpo Core Reader collects and honors excellent writing from Valparaiso University students who have been through the Valpo Core Program the previous year. These essays address a wide variety of texts and topics and include many genres of writing, including argumentative papers, personal narratives, and more. Since the Core Reader’s relaunch in October 2011, Core student essays have been downloaded over 2,700 times from six different countries. This year’s entries include essays by students David Rutkowski, Taylor Ward, Erin Watkins, Donny Scheffler, Emily Steinbacher, Louise Conces, Christina Healy, Nathaniel Shields, Vicky Zaplatosch, Stefan Mukoski, Christy Warner, Avery Blackburn, Sean Hatfield, Darren Lo, Danny Mosco, Amanda Riley, Andy Alessio, and Nicole Maenza. You can read these essays and others at http://scholar.valpo.edu/core_reader. Congratulations to these students for their achievement!
