The Secret of the Pekingese

When writer, Julia Kasdorf, came to visit, she told my Intro to Creative Writing class that one piece of advice instructed her more as a poet than any other: write a sonnet every day. I haven’t done that exactly, but I have given the form a shot. I followed it almost religiously, so the sense doesn’t always follow the form. Still, I think Carolyn Keene might be proud.
