MBA LIVE® is a unique educational delivery system developed by Valparaiso University’s Graduate School of Business. The technology has transformed our classrooms into full synchronous (multidirectional) audio and video communication centers. Three cameras and fifteen microphones allow for open communication between faculty and students in-class with those taking the class remotely. Remote students can ask question and hear the full discussion from anywhere in the world. No special hardware is required.
If business, family, or illness prevents you from attending class in person, you can participate as fully as the students in the classroom by utilizing MBA LIVE®.
If obligations make it impossible to participate remotely, the classes are all recorded and can be viewed on-demand. If you are moving out of the area, the classes can be taken 100% remotely.
To use MBA LIVE® you must have the following equipment:
- A computer, preferably a laptop
- Wired internet connection
- Webcam, preferably with a built-in microphone for ease of use
** Wireless internet, including 3G, 4G, WiFi, and WiMAX, is not as stable as a wired connection and should only be used in emergencies
