The 400 Movement with outline

The 2015 World Relief Campaign (WRC), “The 400 Movement: Giving Kids a Leg Up on Life,” was an initiative to provide 400 children in Kabul, Afghanistan with prosthetic limbs, orthotic devices, and mobility aids. SALT partnered with A Let to Stand On, an NYC-based non-profit organization working in the developing world, bringing free orthopedic care to children with limb disabilites whose families cannot afford treatment. Through generous support, SALT surpassed its goal by $15,000, raising $40,000 in total, and helping 240 more children than planned in achieving physical mobility. The 400 Movement resulted in a shift away from inequality and movement towards equality through social justice.
