Prof. Haiying He gave a talk at the American Physical Society (APS) March Meeting, March 5–9, 2018; Los Angeles, California.

Christopher Morrissey received an award from the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internship (SULI) program sponsored by the Department of Energy (DOE). He will start a research internship at Argonne National Laboratory in mid-January.

Yesukhei Jagvaral started summer research at Michigan Technological University. He is working on the interaction of water with 2D materials.

Christopher Morrissey and Marcus Ochsendorf started summer research together with Prof. He under the Visiting Faculty Program at Argonne National Laboratory. They are working on the electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide.
