Reviews of Templar’s Prophecy by Readers
Comments by Bishop Ed Little (Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana)
Thank you so much for the privilege of reading an early version of Templar’s Prophecy. I finished it yesterday, and thoroughly enjoyed another opportunity of hanging out with Lady Apollonia and her affinity. Ellen, you’ve done a wonderful job of re-creating the late 14th Century, and it was particularly enjoyable, this time around, to be immersed in the life of a medieval monastery. I feel as though Lady Apollonia is an old friend, as are Nan and Gareth and the other members of her household.
You’ve created a gloriously odious villain in Prior Parlwald. Benesec, on the other hand, is an enormously attractive character, and it was fascinating to see how you wove a failed Crusade into his story and his ultimate migration to Cirencester.
