AMS/NWA does several fundraising events each year for Valparaiso University’s Relay for Life each fall, which raises money for the American Cancer Society. The meteorology majors’ team, Team Twister, is often one of the top teams in raising money for this great cause.

Relay for Life 2017 was a huge success! Thank you everyone who supported Team Twister either through donations or by walking at the event to find a cure. Together, we raised $1,246.00 and came in as the runner-up for top fundraising team. The legacy is still alive through your continuous support as students, faculty, and alumni. Thank you!
