Coriolis is a group within the American Meteorological Society that provides a space for LGBTQ+ members of the atmospheric/related sciences and their allies. This group frequently hosts panels and events for members of AMS to attend to learn more about the specific issues and concerns of the LGBTQ+ community. Additionally, Coriolis hosts a reception at the annual AMS meeting as a part of the Board on Representation, Accessibility, Inclusion, and Diversity (BRAID).
