Assimilation Theory

Assimilation theory is the use of cognitive and behavior constructs within a social milieu to control behaviors of diverse cultural communities and impact outcomes in favor of the control agents within the dominant cultural community.

The application of this theory is coded with certain valuations with regard to the success or failure of the participants ability to  assimilate into the dominant social milieu.

In western social constructs we can see the impacts of this assimilation theory on the social development of domestic minorities in western society.

The longer the relationship of  this  assimilation theory among cultural minorities exists impacting the social behavior and cognitive outcomes of the participants, the stronger   assimilation

into the dominant western cultural milieu.

The melting pot boils and renders any cultural difference  out of the social environment!

What we see today in main stream cultural community is a applied social model using assimilation theory as a process of strengthening the social construct of western society.

We need to monitor the pathologies that are invoked by this process of assimilation very closely, to consider the positive or negative outcomes of those who might not be able to or desire to assimilate  in to this social construct.

What is the cost of cultural  assimilation into western

society?
